What is an Accredited Rehab Trainer?

An Accredited REHAB training is the next step UP, for a PT.  through risk assessment, evaluation, hands-on techniques, activating inhibited muscles and blending into life, these processes can change the way you move.

Clients that may seek assistance with REHAB training are:  1 Currently injured; 2 Previously Significantly injured; 3 Aged; 4 Severely Unfit; and 5 Hyper-mobile.  However an Accredited Rehab Trainer will risk assess through 4 questions and 4 tests, seeking to assist those in the low risk category, and to refer those in the high risk category.

Evaluation of movement can assist to understand a client’s poor positioning, techniques or biomechanics.  These imbalances if within the low risk will respond well to hands-on loosening techniques via stretches and trigger point stretches with the Rehab wand and posture pro to assist.  Activation drills and techniques will further improve muscle control and stability of joints via client specific movement with tubing.  Blending exercise prescription to create stepping stone exercises that can be completed without client pain, yet can retrain the path-mechanics, gradually progressing towards the clients goal.

Bottom line, it is all about identifying imbalances and being able to work with those clients within the low risk category to create balance.  Generally, a client will feel the difference.  It is rewarding to see the difference just within a few sessions, and it’s magic to feel it.  I know, ask me.
