Patterns

The first step to change is acknowledgement of “what is”.  That is why journaling is important.  Now, what next?  Many ways forward .  You can acknowledge the pattern, and the learning.  Einstein suggested something along the lines, “You can’t solve a problem with same level of thinking”.  Thinking can be habitual.

A common pattern is learning  what it takes to create and uncreate self esteem.  Sharon likens self-esteem to a bucket that is filled when things go well, and then when it doesn’t go to plan, or a lesson is being learnt, the bucket begins to have holes.  The only way to hold your self esteem is to heal the holes.

One way to healing is through forgiving yourself, and loving yourself unconditionally.  Ask yourself, what is the greatest lesson in this?  What is the pattern?  How to recognise a pattern, is to notice how many times ‘before’ have you experience this, or something similar.  Once you understand the pattern, you have the key to shift it, or to make a different choice.  As it is important to understand, you cannot change a pattern, from continuing to do the same things. Then it is just a choice.

For some acknowledging “what is” is the challenge, for others it “the choice”.  If you choose to be conscious, then acknowledging and choice are just a part of this journey to consciousness.

Patterns can be like a cloak or cocoon you wear.  (refer: Unwinding) They can be within a lineage and can be chains from the past.  You can break the cycle.  Sharon recently wrote a message inspired by life events and a photo from HayHouse on her Facebook page sharonmcl.com image

As it is about choice, if you need assistance with identifying and acknowledging “what is” or “the choice”, it might be time for some coaching from Sharon.  Just ask.
