Bring out the BEST

Your intentions will govern your outcomes.  Do you wish to: get it done; get it right; get along; or get appreciated.  To know yourself, so well is to know when you are in a defence state?  Coming back to a balanced state will always, bring out the BEST in you.

What ways do you use to balance yourself?

1. Time out.

2. Meditation.

3. Exercise.

4. Journal.

5. Chatting with a person, that doesn’t drains you, but resets you.

Another way is to recognise the unwanted behaviours that have moved beyond normal in yourself or another; such as: controlling, perfectionist, approval seeking, or attention getting.  Then note, how to shift to bring out the best: reduce the differences, listen to understand, seek a deeper understanding (to the point, details, interest, appreciate), speak to be understood, project and expect the best.

There are some interesting techniques that help you to bring the best out in yourself and in others.

1.  Become an observer.

2.  Ignite your compassion.

3.  Remember to remain balanced.

The challenge is always moving from emotional and reactive, through to rational and responsive.  When under fire it is the most challenging time to stay balanced and compassionate, and one of the greatest lessons to learn.
