Why personal training?

Personal training means that your exercise program can be targeted to your needs and goals.  Generally you will need to complete pre-screening exercise forms, health form and assessment suggestions.  Depending on your trainers area of expertise what range of exercise will be offered and suggested for your personalised program.

Sharon asks questions such as: “What do you wish to accomplish from your personal program?”; and “What style of personalised service are you expecting? ”  She asks for your history, such as: “Past sports programs you enjoyed?”;  ”Have you been exercising regularly?”; and ”Any negative experiences with exercise programs?”

Your current lifestyle and medical considerations are also important – in some cases your doctors permission maybe required before any new exercise. She asks for your permission before any fitness test and reassessment.  Allowing you the freedom to choose which tests you are comfortable, understanding that any results are benchmarks to improve your fitness.

Sharon likes to formalise your commitment to participate, by signing an agreed commitment to classes to determine the results possible within the timeframe.  She asks you to take responsibility for my own body, listening to your body, alignment and using any equipment under guidance and at your own choice, while understanding that any results will vary according to your commitment during these classes, and what you choose to do by your own free-will and choice outside of personalised sessions.

Sharon’s aim is to inspire, motivate and shift each individual to a new level of awareness with each new personalised program.  Contact Sharon today for your personal training program.
