The Truth

The truth is “most people can’t handle the truth”.  Truth may heal, down the track, yet initially, most of the time it hurts.  Also there are versions of the truth, from the perspective from which you or another stand in the moment.

Do we serve the greater good, by shielding others from our truth?  Can you expect change, if you are not being truthful to yourself?  Is it policitial correct to speak our truth?  At what age are we taught to lie?  Where is the line between truthful, hurtful, a lie and wise?

If you don’t talk about an issue, can you pretend it doesn’t exist?  How tightly do you cling to your reality, your perception of truth?  How often do we accept a person’s faults, because that’s the way they are, but never say this truth to their face?  Are you honest with yourself, or do you keep blaming others for where you find yourself?

Truth can heal, yet its first experience to most people will be, “it hurts”.  If you have had an expectation of a particular person, place or situation, to find out it is not as you first thought, can hurt.  However, if you are willing to learn from the truth, and heal the hurt, you will be given a broader perspective.

All life is just a learning experience, and most times we do the best we can with what we know.  You have a choice, to be honest with yourself, and see, feel, hear and know the truth from all perspectives and heal or not. Its just a choice, hurt or heal.
