Menopause

It is a natural event.  It is not something to be fear, but embraced.  Generally, when you haven’t had your monthly cycle for over 12months in total, you are classed as menopausal between the ages of 44 to 55.  However, it does vary.

Yes, prior to menopause, there can be challenges.  If you stress, it will only add to the fluctuating hormones, weight gain, hot flashes, night sweats, memory loss, heavier then normal period or irregular, fatigue, thin skin, insomnia, loss of libido, vaginal dryness and mood shifts.  Gradually as the hormones level out the symptoms do too.  It is all indicating you need to take time to look after you.
