Colours

Colours form the spectrum of light.  The colours within a rainbow are the colour in the charkas – Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue and Purple.  All colours of light are said to be in white light.  However, if you are painting, you can’t mix white from all colours in paint.

What are the meaning of colours?  Meaning will depend on your belief structure and the model you choose to use.  Meaning in colours, can relate to the chakras.  Meaning can relate to the feeling of the colour.

These are some examples of  ‘often’ meanings of colours.  Sharon says ‘often’, as the shade of colour does make a difference, and where the colour is placed, makes a difference.

RED – inflammation, anger or  passion, energy, 1st chakra, physical or tribal

ORANGE – too much beta carotene or social, 2nd chakra, emotion or sexuality

YELLOW – jaundice/bile or sunshine, fun, self-esteem, 3rd chakra, mental or intelligence

GREEN – jealous or healing, growth, forgiveness, non-judgement, 4th chakra, bridge or heart centredness

SKY BLUE – lack of oxygen or self-expression, communication, 5th chakra, upper level tribe

INDIGO – bruising, or deeper truth, vision, 6th chakra, upper level of connection

VIOLET – not here, or spiritual, knowing, 7th chakra upper level to universal mind

How can you use colour?  If you dislike a colour, you can look at why?  Is it a colour you need in your life?  Is it a colour where you have had a ‘bad’ past experience.  Does a colour have a ‘feeling’ or a ‘thought’, either positive or negative?  If you have any negatives, it is guiding you to where there is healing required.

Aura-soma is a fun way to heal through the combination of colour, plant and crystal energy.  It can be just another way to help shift a challenge in your life.  If you are drawn to it, use it.  However, Sharon found again that you can connect to the energy of whatever colour you need through a meditative space.

Have you ever looked in your cupboard and you have nothing to wear?  Sometimes the colour you are drawn to might not be in your current wardrobe.  Your auric field is filled with coloured light.  The colour around your head changes rapidly with your thought, and the colours further down your body stay more constant for a period.  If you want to know where you are going, look at the auric field of your feet.  If you want to know, where you are currently focussed with your expression, look at the colour around your hands.  In the past, Sharon would draw people’s auric fields; but she realised it wasn’t healthy for people, as when people have a picture, they often say “this is me”.  However, it was you, “only in a captured moment.”  You are constantly growing and changing.  Allow yourself to be all you can be.  Not just, within a captured moment.

Find the joy in colour.  Play with it.  Have fun with it.  If you would like some assistance, just ask Sharon.
